24 hour towing in Iselin and Metropark, NJ: the last train, the low garages and Oak Tree Road at midnight

The final trains from New York reach Metropark around one in the morning, and a weak battery that sat since Monday is dead by then. Tell dispatch the garage or surface lot and the level, and whether you are at the car or still coming down from the platform. The truck waits at the entrance; the driver brings the car out on a wheel-lift or dollies and loads it at street level.

From Green Street toward the Edison line the curb is full until the last kitchen closes. A car parked nose to tail that will not start, or one that starts but cannot get out of its space, is walked out on skates and loaded from the side street. Say the cross street and the side of Oak Tree Road you are on.

Route 27 runs through Iselin toward Rahway with curb parking, jughandles and a lot of overnight traffic from the Parkway. Middlesex Avenue carries the Metropark traffic to the exit. If the car still rolls, get onto a side street; if not, hazards on and give the dispatcher which direction you were headed and the nearest light.

The exit that feeds Metropark and Route 27 is the busiest ramp in this part of the township. The Parkway shoulder is the Authority's road, but the ramp bottom and everything on the local side of it is ours. Turnpike and Parkway shoulders are served by the Authority's authorized garages.
